Web Developer (.NET C#)

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Work with a team of smart and dedicated developers in the creation of various software systems primarily using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010 and C# on the Microsoft .NET platform.
  • Develop Microsoft SQL Server 2008 databases, stored procedures, view and functions.
  • Solve complex n-tier application issues using state-of-the-art Microsoft .NET technology in fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Work closely with the QA, Release Engineering and Product Management to build web software.

Qualifications / Required Skills:

  • Full SDLC experience including requirements, design, development, testing, release and documentation.
  • 3+ years working as a software engineer/developer/programmer building enterprise-level ASP.NET applications.
  • 3+ years developing medium to large scale, distributed n-tier applications using best practices.
  • 3+ years of solid experience with ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, LINQ, jQuery and SQL Server.
  • Detailed experience developing applications utilizing SQL Server databases. Extensive experience writing complex T-SQL, including stored procedures, views and functions.
  • .NET Web Services development expertise.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. You must be able to communicate professionally with our customers.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology.
  • Experience with MVC design pattern.
  • Experience with RESTful web services.
  • Experience with reporting software, specifically SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Experience with JavaScript and CSS.
  • Experience with XML and XSLT.
  • Experience with distributed version control systems, specifically Kiln or Mercurial.
  • Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented (OOP) development principals and design patterns/practices.
  • Microsoft certifications is a plus.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
